What does the verizon sim card do for the iPhone 4category: Iphone4
The Verizon SIM card for iPhone 4 allows the Verizon iPhone to connect to Verizon service. Without the SIM card there is no way for the iPhone to connect to Verizon’s network. If you remove it you can’t do anything on the iPhone.
…SIM Card Slot The slot is located at the top of the iPhone, between the headphone jack and the power button. 2. Open the Slot Take your paper clip and insert it into the little hole. Then firmly push down until the slot pops up, as shown below. 3. Remove the SIM Card The SIM card is in a cradle. You can pop the card out of the cradle. On!
No, the iPhone 4, as well as its predecessors, do not require a SIM card. In fact smartphones do not require a SIM card at all. The technology is quickly becoming outdated and will soon be eliminated altogether. However, your ATT iPhone will not work on Verizon’s network. ATT is a GSM network and Verizon is CDMA. They are not interchangeable between networks. on!
You can move the SIM card or Subscriber Identity Module to any phone that has SIM capability. As long as the card is from the same service provider.Thank you for using !

Transferring SIM card from iPhone 4 to blackberry curve…help.? I recently updated from a Blackberry Curve to an iPhone4. I got my phone taken away by my parents and I really need it back…I’ve tried asking for it back…but they won’t compromise. So I want to take the SIM card out of my iPhone and put it in my old Blackberry…I’ve done this plenty of times with my other phones when I get them taken away but I’m just nervous because the iPhone is much different from my other cell phones. So if anyone could please tell me what to do…I’m hopeless. (p.s. I’m on AT&T so there is a slot for the SIM card…unlike the Verizon iPhone.)
My main questions:
-If I do transfer the card, will it go back to normal once I transfer it back?
-Will my iPhone be effected in anyway? (will it mess it up?)
-Will the phone bill be notified that I changed phones?
Sorry for so many questions…I just really need a phone.
