How can you get Siri on an iPhone 4, do you download an app

category:

Siri will eventually be able to work on an iphone 4 however you must wait for the jail break to come out for it. At this time there is no app available. Siri is speech recognition software. chaCha for now!

Does Apple’s new voice AI (Siri) work with the iPhone 3GS

Right now Siri is limited to the iPhone 4S. Presumably much of the reason for that limitation is that Siri requires a lot of computing power to work. Siri co-founder Norman Winarsky told 9to5 Mac that the Siri app, originally released in early 2010, required a number of workarounds and optimizations to work well on the then-current iPhone 3GS’s 600MHz processor. Do the again!

Is Siri no longer an app for the iPhone 3G’s

Yes, the Siri app was officially yanked from the App Store on Oct. 15. At the moment Siri only works on iPhone 4S, there is no plans to support older devices. !

How do I talk to Siri the app

On the iPhone 4S, you must download the Siri App. Then use the app and speak into the microphone to give Siri questions or commands. !

Should I get the iPhone 4S or the Droid Bionic? It’s time for my upgrade and I’m stuck between a 16GB iPhone 4S and the Motorola Droid Bionic. Both are the same price, but I’m not sure which to get. I’ve listed a bunch of random points below. ^^

In terms of the iPhone, I love the iOS operating system and Siri seems really cool, plus I like the idea of having an MP3 player and phone all in one. I already have the iPod Touch 4th generation as a music player. However, it’s starting to become less responsive and it takes multiple clicks of the home button for me to actually get to the home screen.

In terms of the Bionic, I love that it’s 4G and I really like how big its screen is. The iPhone’s is downright puny compared to it (even though the iPhone’s screen res is actually better). I also get twice the data package for the Bionic (Verizon doubles the amount of data you’re supposed to get for 4G phones so 2GB=4GB on 4G phones for the same price). The Bionic’s huge, though, and from some videos I’ve seen, the multitouch lags a bit.

Another thing that I’m trying to take into consideration is the fact that I’m only a sophomore in high school. Although the Bionic is great at downloading things and is super fast, I don’t really know if I need that kind of speed. The most I’ll prolly be doing is checking Facebook while I’m in the car, or something.

I really love Apple’s App Store and I’m not a big fan of the Android Market, but like I said earlier, I do have my Touch that I can download apps on. But I’m worried that the home button issue is a precurser to other problems and that eventually my Touch will implode, or whatever. I really like the apps I have that are only available with the App Store and I don’t want to lose them.

I don’t like how I can only afford 16GB of memory on the iPhone, while in the Bionic I can just stick in an SD card and get even more memory. I’m kinda worried that I’ll run out of space.

So with all those in mind, which do you think I should get? The iPhone, or the Bionic?
@Joel
Wait, that doesn’t answer my question. Either that or I’m not getting what you’re saying. I’m not even considering getting the 4, so I don’t really care about its specs. Would I be better off with the Bionic or the 4S?
