How to restore deleted iPhone pictures after a full restore from old backup? K, so I went into iTunes>preference>devices>delete backup after following instruction on how to retrieve old files… The reason is because I switched from iPhone 4 to 4s… but then realized not all of 4 was backed up properly so I had to re-restore the old backup to 4s again.
HOWEVER, i had already been using 4s and have some pictures and what not on it… my iPhone doesn’t sync pictures automatically… and my gut feeling is telling me there is no way back… but I had previously deleted the last backup to the iphone 4s I made in order to restore the 4 backup that had the missing files… So my question is can I restore that backup in hopes that the pictures were miraculously backed up?
Also there are two rogue files in my trash that I can’t figure out where they came from… could they be the backup files since i didn’t empty trash yet? With other files and folders if you control-click you’ll see a “put back” option… but with these two files that have no file extensions (just numbers and letters as their name) there isn’t that option. I really need to put them back where they belong to exhaust all possibilities…… Any ideas?By Ben B July 25th, 2012 at 02:51:55
