Is the green bubble on the iphone a sent or recieved text message

A green bubble on the iPhone means a received text message. Got any other questions for us? back!

Why are my conversation text bubbles blue and green on the iphone 4s

Blue text messaging bubbles means you are utilizing Apple's new iOS 5 feature, iMessaing, which means you are texting another person using an Apple mobile device with iOS 5 such as an iPad, iPod Touch, or iPhone. These text messages are free and do not count toward your carrier bill. Green text messaging bubbles mean you are texting someone who is using a non apple device or they simply haven't upgraded to the latest iOS mobile software. !

Why on some text message on the iPhone 4 blue and some green

Green = Sent thru SMS. Blue = Sent thru iMessage (IE the internet, which doesn't count against your SMS usage).

What does a blue chat bubble on the Iphone mean

On the iPhone: Blue (chat bubble) = Sent thru iMessage (IE the internet, which doesn't count against your SMS usage). Green (chat bubble) = Sent thru SMS.

The new iPhone update? hey, i have an iPhone 4 (original, not the latest release) and i had to update it on itunes, it took 25 minutes and i have some new apps for free such as newstand, a video app and a new itunes logo on the home screen, also a shortcut to reach the store.

I noticed my messages have also changed, it now displays the time for every message sent and recieved (before it would only update the time every 5 or 10 messages) and the text bubbles are now green or blue rather than just white. Does anyone know what the difference is between text colours? On my side the texts im sending appear blue but sometimes change to green, i assumed it was because the message is unread on the other users phone, and when viewed i can see it now green? anyone know what exactly the colours represent?
