How can you take an iPhone apart to dry itcategory: Iphone
If your iPhone gets wet, fill a zip lock bag full of rice and put the phone in there for 48 hours. Often that will help dry it. Thanks for using !
Take apart your iPod as best you can. Open it up remove the battery, wipe the parts with a cotton swab and alcohol. Once all the parts have been separated, put them in a plastic bag with dry, uncooked rice. Leave in rice 48 hours, then MORE?
Do not turn on your iPhone right away after it has been dropped in water. You need to make sure it is completely dry before attempting to turn it on or you could fry it permanently. Place the phone in a bag full of dry rice for 24-48 hours to dry it out, then try turning it on. If it doesn't turn on, chances are it's ruined. !
If your iPhone gets wet start by taking out the battery and SIM card. Let the phone sit in a warm area to dry out for 3 days.

My daughter dropped my 3g iphone in toilet how can I dry it out? My little one dropped my phone in the toilet. I think it was only in for a second or two, but I keep drying it off and then feel water running out again. I can’t take it apart. Has anyone had this problem? Do you know what to do?? Thanks!!
Thanks. I did use a blow dryer and put it in rice immediately. However, the iphone doesn’t come apart to take the battery out…(at least as far as I can find out). I used the rice on my husband’s regular phone and it was okay.
