How can I fix an iPhone that has been dropped in liquidcategory: Iphone
Setting the iPhone out to dry and praying it works is the best you can do. Take it to the store to see if they can fix it. Viva la !
Do not turn on your iPhone right away after it has been dropped in water. You need to make sure it is completely dry before attempting to turn it on or you could fry it permanently. Place the phone in a bag full of dry rice for 24-48 hours to dry it out, then try turning it on. If it doesn’t turn on, chances are it’s ruined. !
There is no definite formula for fixing an iPhone that has fallen into water. Open up the phone entirely & lay it out to dry in front of a heater. The sooner you do this the better. Another solution is to wrap the iPhone in a cloth & place it in a bag of rice for about 2 days. This will suck the moisture out from the inside. You must change the rice after about 12 hours.
Pack the iPhone in a sealed plastic bag among the packets of Silica gel and store it in a dry place for at least three days. That should ensure all the moisture is drawn out from the electronic innards of your iPhone.

Get your phone out of the water as fast as possible. Don’t take your time because it can be salvaged. Take the battery out, and dry it off. You can wrap it in a towel and put it in the drier. that seems to work. You can dry it off the way you want juBy MaxBentum13 March 21st, 2013 at 20:00:26

1 Wipe off all the snow off the iPhone . 2 Get to a hairdryer as quickly as you can . 3 Aim hairdryer at the bottom of the phone for 1 minute or until you see no more snow in it . 4 Turn off and on your iPhone until the sound has returned t…http://www.wikihow.com/Fix-Your-iPhone-4-when-You-Drop-It-in-SnowBy SteveOh_UK March 22nd, 2013 at 01:15:13

dropped iphone in liquid? Ok, so what should I do if I dropped my Iphone in a bowl of noodles I was eating? o.0 I got it out 2 seconds later, did my best to dry it, (unfortunately because I didn’t know I left it on), but it was working fine for the most part. The only things that are bothering me are:
1: Can’t hear a thing unless earphones are plugged in. (Speaker problems? Can it be fixed?)
2: Keeps going to “Voice Control” screen (I can just exit but it’s annoying)
3: And continuiously says something like this device cannot work with the iphone (Forgot what it exactly says but if anyone has a portable charger for the iphone you usually get this message alot if you don’t plug it in all the way)
Overall, I got reallllly lucky (:D my iphone veryy hard to break, you have no idea how many different and dangerous ways I have dropped my phone, I have actually dropped it in water before and got it to work again right after I somewhat dried it, but noodle broth? o.0) so the touch screen and buttons work fine. Right now, i’m trying that weird rice absorbation trick, but apprently it takes a while, and I’m a tad impatient. Just wanted to ask if it will probably be better the next morning.
Update: 2/3 are fixed after turning off and on and letting it out to dry (for like 3hours) But the speakers still dont work. I’m afraid that it might have already been shorted out for the 2 seconds in fell in the water? Is there a good chance that it can be fixed if I just wait? Or will it be fixable (for free) if the speakers are brokent? (If not, will I have to pay for a new IPhone or speakers or whatever if I want it to work again?) I’m a little more patient with this problem because if I use the earphones it works just fine.
Woops, scratch that last update. 3 occasionaly happens. Along with that, the sound volume bar dissapears but can easily be fixed if you plug and unplug the charger, hopefully, that will be fixable too?
